Alright guys! I said I was going to keep up with this weekly post so here we go! Last week I said I was going to do a few things, and now it’s time to see how I did! Let’s take a look at what I said I would do:
Eat well, from the Earth
This is a fun one since it’s something I’m trying to implement every week. Some weeks will be easier than others as plans can get in the way. But there’s always a choice in the matter. This week I was in Spain for a wedding (post coming later this week), so clearly I enjoyed some foods I don’t normally get to have. But, now I’m heading back home and can get back on the good things.
Take time to enjoy the outdoors
Another amazing part about being in Spain was getting to explore more of where my boyfriend is from! We never spent a lot of time inside, which means I got to be out a lot! I would say that I was successful.
Take five photos everyday
Well, I definitely took more pictures, but maybe not five every day. I’d say this is a goal I can work towards.
Finish my book (I’ve been reading it for the past two weeks and know that I haven’t been devoting enough time to it)
Oops! Instead of bringing my Kindle with me, I broke open a new book I got in the mail from my ‘Book of the Month’ subscription. However, I did finish this one in less than two days! I can’t wait to share more about it in October’s reading recommendations.
Reflect and acknowledge all of the good things in my life
This last one is another that I will have as a given every week. I believe that reflecting and acknowledging all of the good things in life is important, especially in moments where I find myself getting sad, depressed or down. Sometimes we can all get caught up and need a bit of perspective to get us back in a good place.
So what are my goals for this week? They are:
– Finish my book on my Kindle before starting any other books
– Work on my time management skills (look out for a post about this coming soon!)
– Take at least three photos a day
– Start thinking about October (and Halloween!)
What are your goals for this week? Do you like having little goals or setting big ones? Let me know what you think!
