5 pumpkin flavored drinks that aren’t spiced lattes

Now if I’m being honest here, I do get excited for September 1st. Why? Because it means that the pumpkin spiced latte is back! Yes, I understand that the pumpkin spiced latte goes along with being ‘basic’, but I do love it. However, this year I decided to switch it up a bit and try some other pumpkin-based drinks, especially because I don’t want to limit one of my favorite flavors to just coffee. Here are five of my favorite pumpkin-based drinks for fall.

Pumpkin Pecan Pie Smoothie

I love a good smoothie in the morning. I love my smoothies even more when I can incorporate flavors that coincide with the season. So this is definitely one of my favorites for fall. I found this great recipe from Delish, and I highly recommend you try it if you love pumpkin and pecan pie as much as I do.

Pumpkin Pie Punch

I have found exactly what I’m going to make my family for drinks during Sunday dinner thanks to The Cookie Rookie. You can make it with alcohol, or without and it still tastes amazing. The whipped cream garnish really makes this drink fun, festive and a bit ghoulish.

Harry Potter Pumpkin Juice

Now if you’re a fan of ‘the boy who lived’ as much as I am, then this recipe is right for you! I found this one from Favorite Family Recipes, who created their version of the famous beverage after visiting The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. I love going there and now I’m able to make this drink at home.

Pumpkin Spice Turmeric Tea Latte

What happens when you combine pumpkin and turmeric? Absolute autumnal magic! With the incredible recipe from Parsnips & Pastries, I can now enjoy two of my favorite flavors and spices. Plus, this drink only takes five minutes to make, which means you’re really only five minutes away from happiness.

Vegan Pumpkin Spice Milkshake

I have a few people in my life who are vegetarian and vegan, so I wanted to make sure to include them on the list. They always tell me how it can be difficult to find something that tastes good and keeps to their chosen lifestyle. This recipe from A Dash of Megnut is the perfect for them, with the combination of all of my favorite autumnal spices with vegan ice cream. I highly recommend you try this, even if you’re not vegan.
