My 5 Favorite DIY No-Carve Pumpkins for Halloween

Halloween is a time for fun, whether you’re making or planning your costume, getting your candy bowl ready, or you’re excited to decorate pumpkins. I love making pumpkins during the holiday, however, I had a bit of a traumatic experience a few years ago with a friend carving. Let’s just say we spent some time in the emergency room that evening. So, that is why I’ve been embracing the no-carve trend. I’ve been searching for amazing designs, and these are my five favorite DIY no-carve pumpkins for Halloween.

Hand-Painted Sally Pumpkin from As The Bunny Hops

Now if I haven’t made it clear yet, I have a massive fascination/obsession with Disney. So obviously I had to put this design on the list! I love Sally so much from The Nightmare Before Christmas that I actually dressed up as her for Halloween last year. My amazing friend, Erica, did my makeup for the party I attended. I love this pumpkin so much because it brings Sally to life in a fun and different way.

DIY Pun-kins from Studio DIY!

I saw these last year and fell in love with the right away. It’s an amazingly fun spin on decorating pumpkins, and gives me the giggles. So many of my friends love these as well that they are making them this year for their respective festivities.

DIY Fresh Floral Moon Pumpkin from The Merrythought

If you’re looking for a sophisticated design for your Halloween decor, this is definitely the pumpkin for you. It’s absolutely gorgeous! It brings the idea of Halloween without any of the creepy crawlies that you’d expect. I really do love this design because of the incorporation of fresh flowers.

DIY Sequin Polka Dot Pumpkin from Sugar & Cloth

This design is super fun and festive! I love the sparkles that come from the sequin polkadots. The best part is that you can make a ton of pumpkins like this with different colored sequins to create a fun look for your home.

DIY Cactus Pumpkin from Aww Sam

These pumpkins are so adorable! I am obsessed with cacti and succulents, especially in this design. They’re also super easy to make, which makes it perfect to do as an activity with friends. This is also a great way to bring more color to the holiday, instead of sticking to the traditional orange and black.
