It’s officially December! The month where everyone starts to go crazy-shopping, start looking back on the year that’s passed us all by so quickly, and it’s also my lovely boyfriend and my birthday month. We had amazing time celebrating they boyfriend’s birthday on Friday, and decided to celebrate it all weekend long. I adore December, not just because of all of the celebrating, but because of all of the excitement of things to come. I mean, if you would have told me back in January that I would pick up my whole life and move to the US, I would have laughed at you and asked how many piña coladas you’ve had (we were lucky enough to celebrate New Year’s Eve in the Bahamas). However, life throws some crazy things your way and WHAM, you’re living in a new place, with your loving boyfriend, and are starting the month off with a new job. So even though I’ve had moments this past year that I wouldn’t like to remember, they’re moments that I’ve learned from and now cherish because of it.
But enough about all of that. I know it’s been a couple of weeks since I did one of these, so I’m going to start from scratch and see how I do.
- Get on that time management. Now that I’m starting my new job today(!), I need to start managing my time better. Even though I’ve loved having all of this time to focus on moving and finding a job, now it’s time to kick everything into high gear again.
- Get back to writing. I love this blog so much and I’ve realized when I did the November blog roundup how many posts I didn’t finish writing because of either time or me being forgetful. Time to get back to it.
- Keep up with the exercise. My awesome sister (and fitness inspiration) introduced me to this amazing app over Thanksgiving, which I’ve been using. Thanks to her I’ve been trying to work out more, so this week is all about keeping up with it.
