Hello and welcome back to the land of the living! Okay, that is aimed at me mostly, but it’s been a crazy 10 days! The majority of them I spent in bed binge-watching television shows because I was super sick. I mean, not the flu, but I had a fever, one swollen gland (stupid left side), a cough and post nasal. I know, sexy right? But I have no officially recovered, meaning that I no longer have a fever and only a couple of sniffles a day. I thought moving to a warmer climate would mean I wouldn’t get sick! I guess I was seriously wrong about that.
What else can I tell you? I can’t believe that my last post was for Valentine’s Day! It feels like ages since I’ve been on here, and usually I would feel pretty guilty about that. But recently I’ve been trying to not feel so guilty about things like that. Life happens and can get in the way, but you just have to roll with it. All I can say is that I’ve very excited about what’s to come in March! I feel like I’m revving up again to make this blog more and more exciting and fabulous because that’s how I’m feeling on the inside. It’s incredible how this blog can reflect how I’m feeling in my day-to-day life. When I’m feeling super good I crank out a bunch of posts. When I’m feeling down or sick, I don’t usually share as much. But shouldn’t it be that I can express myself more when I’m not feeling that great? This is something I want to dive into more, but want to devout more of a post to.
We also were able to visit the Museum of Ice Cream in Miami before it closed! Honestly, it was a blast, and luckily we got tickets before I felt like I would need to be in bed for the majority of the day. You’re able to sample five different kinds of ice cream. I made it to two and a frozen banana. It was super fun, colorful, and a great experience to take a break fro the crazy and just enjoy life for an hour. If you get a chance to visit one, or it happens to pop in a city near you next, make sure to go!
Clearly my mind has been running in circles since I’m now feeling 100% like myself again. So get ready for some shits and giggles because they’re definitely on the way! I also just wanted to say thank you for your continued support and readership. I started this blog as an outlet, and if you’ve ever looked back at old posts, you can see how this blog has evolved. So thank you for your continued views, likes, comments and shares. It truly means a lot. I love you all!
