Goodbye Maimi, Hello San Francisco

Alright, looks like I can finally share the news: I am officially moving to San Francisco. It happened ridiculously quickly, and the whole process feels like I’ve been pushed into a wind tunnel, but I can already tell that this move is going to be worth it.

So what brought on the move? Well, inner voice, I’m so happy you asked! The past few months have felt like a big transition period where I really started asking myself, “What do you want out of life, Al? Where do you want to be? What do you want to do?”. I sat down and started to reflect. Low and behold, I ended up applying for an incredible opportunity, which means that it’s time for me to say goodbye to Miami and hello to San Francisco. I am so excited about the move, which is happening in about two weeks. If you can believe it, the packing and moving experience as a whole hasn’t been ridiculously overwhelming yet, and trust me, I know how crazy I sound by writing that statement. But it’s true! I’ve really just been ecstatic about all of the new opportunities to explore, meet people, and reconnect with my friends and family who live out there already.

Yes, I’ll miss Miami. It’s where I probably grew most as a person. I learned so much about myself in the past 12 months of living there that I don’t regret the decision to go in the first place. I’ve found out who I am, what I like, dislike, what I want out of life, and most importantly, what I deserve. So, I’m bringing all of the craziness with me in my super amazing mental luggage cases to the West Coast to start the next chapter of my life. Wish me luck!
